"In order to form a more perfect Union"? As if people didnít need any more evidence of the retardation of us Americans. More perfect?

These aren't real caricatures, that wasn't the point, so I'll tell you who they are. Here we have a very excited Gouverneur Morris. And Washington in the back, and that sexy son of a bitch James Madison in one chair. And Oh PUCE on the game inside the Game Boy that Benjamin Franklin is playing. See, way back then they didnít have the fancy DS.
FLAPDOODLE!! We were trying to think of a title. And we couldn't. So we called it flapdoodle.

Benjamin Franklin DEFINITELY. What an awesome person.
Quite possibly Gene Kelly. He IS pretty cool.
Oh and maybe Cheech. I dunno, he's just great.
That chalupa, Zoi, the 2.0 version of the goddess of courage, a Canadian pirate, Mitzi, Kai-... ugh, okay, you know what peopleÖ just, just CONSIDER yerself on my list! Alright!? GAWD!!!!! Jesus of Nazareth!

"More perfect" would be in relation to something that came before it.

It's simply a snazzier way to say "better".

Remember, many of these were lawyers ... who liked beer (Madison wanted there to be a Secretary of Beer to oversee a brewery for Washington DC ... which would be constitutional since in DC Congress has legislative power "in all Cases whatsoever").

Show me a lawyer who likes his beer (or booze in general) and I'll show you someone who is at elast open to occasional expressive language if the muse is upon him.

I love the fact that I stumble upon this and I have an exam about the Constitiution, Federalists, and all sorts of historic goodness.

Ahh, History.

hahaha some of the hate comments on this were as backwards as russia freeing the serfs the year after slaves were liberated in america!! da..1860ss ;) serfs!!!

i myself view these sorts of cartoons not as insulting or slanderous! but the complete opposite, as endearing, and a form of flattery. duh!
nothing wrong with humor and pointing out something truly friggn funny about the constitution.

love it!

You must be a proud dipshit. Men like that were heros and men like that would kick the living shit out of you if they were alive today.

You cowardly shit-monger. You slandering dickhead.

I think your comment is interesting because this cartoon could truly be viewed as insulting, or actually as the complete opposite.
Perhaps a silly exageration of what the workings behind gov. morris' mind were?
But not meant to simplify or cheapen the actual events. ;)

Wow, your amazing dude! Do you just search for stuff like this to bitch about??

Hilarious!! Are you related to most of the douche bags on DA? I've met at least half of your cousins! And they're all jerks!

No, I searched James Madison and found this disrespectful form of slander in return. If your whiny little friend can't take criticisms, the maybe he should keep his 'art' to himself.

And if the exercise of free speech makes me a "jerk", then I hope little commie scumbags like you see me as Satan himself.
